Welcome to Newport Beach
Among nature preserves, premier golf courses, gently sloping hills, and sublime shorelines, the city of Newport Beach rests like a glittering wellspring of class and luxury along the coast of Southern California. Just west of California State Route 73 and Irvine, Newport Beach is bisected in the north by the Upper Newport Bay, which flows in from the Pacific.
Before its incorporation in 1906, and even before its influx of settlers throughout the 19th century, Newport Beach was a prominent location for Native peoples. Now, the city has a bustling population of around 86,000 residents, which expands in the summer months as the seasonal tourist boom draws in anywhere between 20,000 and 100,000 visitors daily.
Charming multi-colored homes dot the cliff sides above the beach, epicurean estates offering resplendent views and plenty of amenities. Inland, you’ll find a range of multi-million dollar houses that include romantic, red-tiled Spanish Colonials, sleek contemporary new-builds, renovated bungalows, stunning beach houses right along the sand, and so much more.
